Nyumah Couples and Family Counseling is a private practice rooted in the belief that healing happens in relationship, with yourself, your loved ones, and your broader community. I am Robert Nyumah, LMFT - one of the clinicians at this practice. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship challenges, trust repair after betrayal, grief, trauma, life transitions, and cultural stress. I offer telehealth throughout New York State and limited in-person appointments at our Rochester location. My approach is warm, direct, and culturally responsive. Whether you are repairing a relationship, processing loss, or finding clarity in the middle of a major transition, I create space for sustainable growth at your own pace, grounded in who you are and where you come from. Beyond individual and couples therapy, I collaborate with a trusted network of clinicians to offer group experiences including grief support, relationship enrichment, men's and women's processing groups, and a processing group for parents with children connected with mental health services.
